Anne Demarco – Head Teacher of Art

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing on 19 January, 2026, of Anne Demarco, at the age of 91. Mrs Demarco is very fondly remembered by staff and pupils alike, as the former Head Teacher of Art, at St. Margaret’s for many years. Many will also siginficantly remember the centenery tapestry, which Mrs Demarco and Mrs Cockerell designed – everyone at school in 1990 is represented and all took part in the creation of this fabulous piece of work.
